We have worked on Analytics projects with tools such as Bitstew's Mix Director external vendor application for a major utility client having 1.8 to 2 million customers. Analytics of operational data have included meter operations - Alerting of events (meter outages, reverse rotation and theft alerts, missing usage data occurrences), Exception handling of data, billing data interpretations of the kilo-watt hour data, router and collector network device monitoring (outages and regular daily maintenance), remote connect/disconnect operations (cut out of meters providing electricity due to bill non-pay, connections of meters for new customers, connections for existing customers moving to different locations, associating existing accounts with new meters and meter asset management information to determine new meters to be added to inventory and stock. These are common factors among utility systems and we have the expertise and experience to provide services for these operations.
